Senator Jean Fuller spoke at the Capitol today against abusive lawsuits and the need to reform our legal system. Specifically, she addressed SB 287, her legislation requiring that economic harm be shown before attorney’s fees would be awarded.

Senator Fuller reacts immediately following the Governor's State of the State Speech given Monday night in the state Capitol. Stating that "Words are great but now we need to see the actions. The actions would be what regulations are we rolling back so business can thrive? What cuts are we making so that we can live within our means? And best of all, what are we doing to enrich the next generations line of credit?"

Assemblymember Fuller continues to fight against new proposals that would raise taxes on hard working Californians and further cripple our economy.

Having heard recently about delays in state permitting in her district, Senator Jean Fuller takes the opportunity in a budget subcommittee hearing to question why the Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources would be holding up hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars of economic activity.
