Senator Walters and Guy Fieri
Senator Mimi Walters (R-Laguna Niguel) and other Legislators join Guy Fieri, host of the Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” in promoting families cooking and eating together. “Making cooking a family activity, in which parents and children work together to prepare a meal, is a great opportunity to strengthen family unity,” said Walters. "I commend Guy Fieri for his passion to encourage family participation in the preparation of healthy food. Promoting healthy eating practices through public enlightenment is a far more noble pursuit than our state government's tendency to ban foods that are perceived as less nutritious."
