On Thursday August 20, Harman voted against a plan which allowed for the early release of 27,000 prison inmates to save the state money. The measure, which barely passed the Senate, is an appalling abdication of our responsibility to keep the public safe from known criminals and yet another ploy by soft on crime legislators to keep criminals from doing their time.
